Properties:Thermoplastic phenolic resin modified with tall oi,flammable,and odorless.Soluble in alcohol,ketones and esters,insoluble in water.It’s corresponding to the product SP6701(Schenectady).
Applications: As reinforcing agent for NR,SBR,BR,NBR,EPDM and CR,it’s the main reinforcing agent for treads and sidewalls of tire,and for shoe-soles,window sealing strips of cars,rubber rollers,etc.As the same of normal reinforcing resin,it can prove the hardness,tear resistance,abrasion resistance,ensile strength,reduce the Mooney viscosity and prolong the scorch time.But compared with the unmodified resin,DHJH-E has the better compatibility in rubber,so as to accelerator the dispersing of fillers and improve the processability.Specially,in the presence of saturated or unsaturated aliphtic hydrocarbons and carboxyls within DHJH-E,the hardness increasing rate of final products can be bigger about 5-10% than the one reinforced by the normal resin.To avoid prevulcanization,the resin should be added in early period,and the donors,such as HMT or HMMM,should be added together with sulfur and accelerators as the last step in the mixing cycle.
Reinforced resin 206 is a resin 205 mixed with curing agent HMT with a ratio of 10:1, and the fineness reaches 200 mesh white or light pink powder.
